Molly Mangan, President

Ms. Mangan's expertise is in strategic planning, geographical information systems (GIS) and project management.  She also has extensive experience in process analysis, functional systems architecture and data modeling.

With a lifelong interest in the public sector, Ms. Mangan has specialized in consulting to State & Local government entities, served five years as Deputy CIO for GIS for the City of Chicago, and obtained an MBA from Kellogg with a concentration in Public Administration.

While at the City of Chicago, Ms. Mangan defined and implemented a strategic plan for the City's Enterprise GIS.  Several of her team's initiatives were recognized with awards from the Public Technology Institute. Ms. Mangan led the rollout of a citywide GPS program to track City vehicles and cell phones.  Beyond her role in GIS, Ms. Mangan facilitated the development of an IT Strategic Plan for the BIS (IT) Department and worked with several large departments on their technology planning.

Throughout her consulting career, Ms. Mangan has specialized in public sector clients. Her projects include strategic planning for a county court system, a state employment agency, and a state department on aging.  She has led teams to develop child support and traffic court systems, develop eGovernment focused websites, and design a military procurement system.  Ms. Mangan brings her experience and commitment to helping state and local governments to all of her client engagements.
